'Ruth Hunt Wood is a longtime friend of mine. She is an artist, primarily working in oil painting and her subjects are animals and portraits. Her last exhibit was a one woman show in Nairobi, Kenya. Ruth Hunt is a dog lover. She currently owns two rescued greyhounds. Ruth Hunt has a Foundation established in her name for contemporary Kenyan artists. Her Foundation includes an annual residency at the Art Department at the University of Kentucky. It is now in it's third year and has been very successful.
